Doudou Hotel - Saint-Gilles Les Bains

Over Christmas, I had a fantastic stay at a hotel near the beach. the location was perfect, just a short walk away from the water and close to public transportation. the staff were the highlight of my stay, always friendly and helpful. I particularly appreciated the free snorkeling equipment and the organized daily minibus trips to explore Reunion island.

Friendly staff. Very good value for money. Not beach front hotel but close enough. Located in the residential area, so very quiet.

Great proximity to the beach and friendly staff. We were appreciative of the free use of snorkeling gear and the fact that the hotel offered a taxi service from the airport. The hotel is also conveniently located near a bus stop for easy transportation.

The noise from other guests was quite disruptive at night, and the breakfast was not very diverse. the room was quite basic and lacked some amenities such as hand towels and a proper window.

The location was convenient, just a short walk to the beach and shops. The hotel facilities were clean and the staff was helpful. I appreciated having a fridge in my room.

This hotel is located very close to the beach, just a quick 5 minute walk away. the open restaurant with its many options adds to the great location. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with pleasant views of the luxurious vegetation.

The hotel was somewhat overpriced considering the lack of extra amenities.

Warm welcome, friendly staff, big room with terrace, lush garden setting, pool.
